The inserts that come with the diapers are high quality. Only my middle child can go with just one insert during the day. The other two are just very heavy wetters. Buggy now uses just one microfiber insert when we use the diapers as his training pants. Two inserts work well during daytime. Again, only my middle babe could do just two microfiber inserts at night.I was excited to try green diapers new diaper covers! I have been using p refolds and covers with the baby since he was just a few weeks old. I haven’t been thrilled with the economic covers I have been using. They work but just aren’t great for a tiny babe.The front flap is fantastic. I am able to tuck a pref old under to minimize winking out the front. The cover is elasticized all around to contain the mess. The only downside – it is on the small side. I was able to fit a tree-folded pref old under the cover with Buggy, but could not put a fitted diaper under for him. Even with the pref old, the fit is less than ideal.
